On November 25, 2013 the JCBRN COE was pleased to host a visit by Ambassador David Konecky, the Czech Permanent Representative to the Political and Security Committee of the European Union, and Major General Jiri Baloun, the Czech Republic Military Representative to NATO and the European Union.

 

The visit provided an opportunity to highlight the significant accomplishments and projected future events of the JCBRN COE. Following an informal coffee break and introductions by the COE Director, COL Gajdos, the COE Chief of Staff, COL Deadrich, began the briefings with the JCBRN COE Command Briefing. The Director of the Operations Support Department, COL Lefebvre, followed with an informative briefing on the Reach Back Coordination Element and the JCBRN COE Information Knowledge Management Officer, Staff Captain Trees, provided an overview of the JCBRN COE’s current and future Information Knowledge Management concept. Both Ambassador Konecky and Major General Baloun were pleased with the presentations and impressed with the capabilities and accomplishments of the JCBRN COE. The visit concluded with a presentation of gifts by the Director to our guests, followed by a hosted lunch.
