        On 26 November 2010 the JCBRN Defence COE Director COL Zdeněk Čížek and the vice-president of ZRÍNYI MIKLÓS National Defence University of Budapest COL József Padányi, DSc signed the Memorandum of Understanding between these two institutions.

        The signing of the MOUs was the first step towards a new way of cooperation between these institutions. The basic purpose of these MOUs was to make provisions for establishment of the collaborative environment between the COE and above mentioned University.

         To deepen mutual cooperation between the JCBRN Defence COE and ZRÍNYI MIKLÓS National Defence University of Budapest there was decided to prepare a Technical Agreement (TA). This TA should provide additional details not cover in the above mentioned MOU. The work on the TA was successfully finished in the middle of March and the TA was signed on 31 March 2011.

         The TA among others anticipate cooperation in post-gradual/doctoral training courses at the University, provide professional environment for CBRN students to get practical experience within the frames of ERASMUS PROGRAM, exchange of instructors and lectures as well as provide opportunity  for publication in scientific periodicals.

         The representatives of the JCBRN Defence COE and ZRÍNYI MIKLÓS National Defence University of Budapest stated their concern about successful cooperation and also for beneficial partnership for both sides.
